Images of the Suffolk Coast

These galleries contain photographs of the people, seashore, beaches, skies, riverscapes and marshes of the Suffolk coastal area of East Anglia. There are images of coastal towns ranging from post industrial Ipswich to the sleepy towns of Aldeburgh and Woodbridge. There are coastal villages such as Orford with its 12C castle, mystical Iken with its expanse of marshes and the wind swept colony of Shingle Street. There are plenty of images of jetties, boat yards and fishing boats. These image include some of the Suffolk Coastal inhabitants such as the villagers of Hasketon, the day trippers at Southwold and Aldeburgh, the fishing community at Felixstowe Ferry and the new wealth at Ipswich Wet Dock.
